Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2026
1. What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you sign up, run an audit, subscribe to monthly check-ins, or start a customer research study. This may include your email address, app name, platform, builder, the answers you provide during the audit conversation, and the app numbers you paste in for audits and monthly check-ins. We keep a history of your audits, numbers, recommendations, and results over time so that monthly check-ins can compare your numbers check-in over check-in and grade previous advice. We also collect standard technical data such as browser type and IP address to keep the service secure.
2. How we access your app numbers
We do not connect to your app builder, database, app store account, or any other service. We generate a plain-text read-only prompt for you to run inside your own builder. You review it, paste it yourself, and paste the result back to us. We only ask for the metrics needed for the audit. We never request passwords, API keys, or any credentials that could access your app or its data automatically, and we do not access or receive your source code, backend logic, or internal app structure.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to deliver the audit and research services, authenticate your account, process payments, send service-related updates, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers or bank details on our servers. We keep a record of what you bought, when, its price, and whether it was refunded.
If you cancel the monthly check-in plan or ask for a refund, we store that request — including the reason you write, your account email, and the date — so we can process it and keep a record of the outcome. Canceling is self-serve from your account page and stops all future charges. Refunds are self-serve on paid studies before any interview has been completed, and by request from your account page after that. A refunded study is closed and its question plan, interview link, and report are no longer available.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the site, such as our hosting, authentication, payment, and email providers. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You may also close your account at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
9. Contact us
